In 2017, I completed my degree in psychology at the University of Vienna and later obtained specialist certification in clinical psychology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Slovak Medical University. I subsequently obtained an L1A licence from the Slovak Chamber of Psychologists, which authorises me to provide individual and clinical psychological assessment.
I completed long-term psychotherapy training in PCA (the person-centred approach) at the Czech PCA Institute in Brno, and training in EMDR therapy at the Slovak Institute for Psychotraumatology and EMDR.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
I provide professional care and support to people facing difficult life situations, helping them cope with psychological difficulties and problems. My aim is to work with each client to explore solutions and find ways to improve their mental health and quality of life.
EXPERT WITNESS SERVICES · SINCE SEPTEMBER 2024
I am listed in the Register of Experts of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic. If you need an expert report, you can find the procedure, contact details and my official profile here.
I believe that clients are the best experts on themselves. As a therapist, I support them on their journey towards greater self-understanding, helping them find their own solutions and make decisions that reflect their needs and goals.
My approach is based on the belief that each of us has an inner capacity for natural, healthy self-regulation that enables us to function well. Sometimes this capacity can be disrupted, and therapy can help us reconnect with it.
At our first appointment, we will talk about the questions and difficulties you would like to address in therapy, as well as the areas of your life in which you would like to make changes.
The length of our work together is individual and depends on your expectations and the goals you would like to achieve. It may range from a few sessions to several years.
At the end of the first consultation, we will decide whether to work together. If meeting in person in Bratislava does not suit you, we can also arrange online therapy. An in-person first appointment is preferable.
“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”
Here you will find answers to the questions people most often ask about my services.
